Andrea Gold and Gary Yamamoto have written an amazing book on how to get into the speaking business.  This book covers everything from marketing, sales, working with speakers bureaus and much, much more.  There is also a workbook that will help you create a process that walks you through the steps to become successful.  This book gets my highest recommendation.
